An extra layer for those of you with really cold feet. PURE SILK - means warmth without weight and bulk, its insulating properties retain body heat more effectively than any other natural fabric. Silk can soak up to 30% of its own weight in moisture and still feel dry. This enables the "wicking" process that transfers the perspiration from the body surface through to the next clothing layer, so keeping the active sportsperson dry and warm. Silk is as strong as an equivalent filament of steel and will stretch as much as 20% without breaking. This strength is reflected in silk's durability when washed time and time again.
